John Young

Born and raised in Missouri, John moved to Colorado in 2004 after graduating from college. His day job is working for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Ft. Collins, Colorado, working in a pathogenic microbiology lab. He has been working in Youth ministry off and on since 2003, and particularly loves to teach, counsel and all-around goof off with Youth. John is also an avid fan of the outdoors, loving to camp, hike, fish and anything else that gets him outside. John is married to Tiffany, whom he’s known since he was five, and is the father of Andrew and Monica. Their home is in Severance.

Denese Renner

Denese was born in Greeley, Co and has lived in CO for more than half of her life. She has lived in Windsor for the past 20 years. She is happily married with a son in 8th grade and a daughter in 5th grade. She has worked and volunteered with children and youth most of her life as she was a PK. She loves doing the "behind the scenes" work keeping up the communication with students and parents. She also works 2 part time jobs surrounded by people because that is what she loves. She owns her own salon, the Hair Den, in Windsor and works part time as a lunch cashier at WHS where she loves seeing and connecting with students. In Denese's opinion, Windsor is a great town to raise kids and Cornerstone has an awesome youth group to work with!

Shelby Carpenter

Shelby was born in Aurora Colorado. Her family moved to Windsor right before her 6th grade year. She has lived in Windsor ever since and loves it here. She has been around long enough to see all of the changes in this Youth ministry. Shelby has enjoyed working with the youth program and the staff. She also thinks that this is the best youth ministry in the world with the greatest people.
